From the 1st of September 2023, the Sheep Bureau Service will be under new management from the Livestock Information Service. This partnership is a promising first move towards a true multispecies bureau service as part of Defra’s Livestock Information Transformation Programme.
What does this mean for users of the service?

It’s goal is to improve the accuracy and management of livestock movement data to benefit trade and disease control, along with bringing wider industry benefits.
