As work towards the launch of the enhanced Livestock Information Service for all livestock species continues, Tuff Chowdhury has been contracted to oversee the final stages of development and provide direction for the programme.
With over 26 years of experience in leading large-scale digital transformation programmes and change initiatives, Tuff brings a breadth of knowledge and an extensive skillset, bringing his independent expertise to support the successful delivery of this key initiative. Having begun his career in consulting for global firms, Tuff has a passion for supporting business needs with technological solutions and has since had roles across a variety of industries, including financial services, healthcare, media and the public sector.
When asked what initially attracted him to working with Livestock Information Ltd, Tuff explained:

The Livestock Information Service (LIS) aims to digitise the way in which animal movements are recorded. Being specifically designed to improve both the performance and sustainability of the livestock industry, LIS will considerably improve the timeliness and accuracy of livestock movement data throughout the supply chain. Such data which will be crucial in empowering government, industry and farmers in effectively managing disease and infection control, whilst enhancing productivity and innovation.
