The Livestock Information Service (LIS) is hitting the road once again this summer, with a series of visits to livestock markets across the north of England to speak directly with sheep farmers about statutory sheep movement reporting.

The LIS Roadshow offers farmers the opportunity to meet the team, ask questions and discuss how they currently report sheep movements. Whether reporting online, through farm software or using another method, the roadshow is designed to gather feedback, share guidance and provide help and support for using the digital Livestock Information Service.

The upcoming roadshow dates are:

– Friday 14^th August – Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire

– Wednesday 19^th August – NWA Lancaster Auction Mart

– Tuesday 25^th August – Skipton CCM Auctions

– Friday 4^th September – Cockermouth Livestock Auction

– Tuesday 8^th September – Penrith & District Farmers’ Mart

– Thursday 10^th September – Sedgemoor Auction Centre

Sheep farmers attending any of these markets are encouraged to stop by, chat with the LIS team and explore more about the digital traceability service, LIS. Feedback from the roadshow helps inform ongoing improvements to LIS to ensure it meets the needs of the farming industry.
